Buffy the Vampire Slayer.....Angel (the Vampire) For now, there is no real Buffy information... strickly Angel. I'll try to update as much as I can... but more than likly I'll forget!

Source: TV/Movies for Teens ~~~David Boreanaz, star of The WB's vampire series Angel, told the official WB Web site that the upcoming fifth season will feature more stand-alone episodes and shorter story arcs. "It's not going to be so heavy as it was in the past," Boreanaz said. "The arcs are going to be shorter. There are going to be more stand-alone shows." Boreanaz, sporting a small goatee, added that the show will get a little lighter this season. "You're going to see a group of characters investigate something [and] get through it," he said. "It will be more light stuff happening. A lot of dark humor going on. ... It's action. ... There's adventure. There's love. ... It's fast-paced, [with] special effects. ... It's going to be packed with quick jabs, rather than long punches this year." Source: Sci Fi Wire ~~~James shot a scene in the nude. The show is really getting back to what made Angel and Buffy so addictive back in the day: more wit, better monsters/villains, and a more simplified good vs. bad theme. Fred, Gunn and Wesley will be back to more of supporting characters this season, and Spike is giving the atmosphere a nice electric jolt – I think you guys are really going to dig the new dynamic. Source: Kristin on E!Online ~~~The big news for ''Buffy'' fans: ''Spike is in the hizzy,'' says exec producer Joss Whedon, who adds that James Marsters' undead dude will be reintroduced ''painfully, and with a lot of special effects.'' Meanwhile, Angel (David Boreanaz) has taken over the supernatural law conglomerate Wolfram & Hart. ''Last year was one big story for 22 episodes,'' says Whedon. ''This year we're trying to welcome new viewers, so it's more solve-a-case-every-week.'' Angel may also get a visit from a certain slayer (if Sarah Michelle Gellar can find time between ''Scooby-Doo'' sequels). ''Now that I have her two ex-boyfriends in one room, it's the perfect time to make things even worse.'' Any more spin-offs planned, Mr. Whedon? ''I'm working on 'Buffy: Deep Space Nine.' It will be dark and badly received.'' Source: Entertainment Weekly ~~~Fans wondering whether Spike will look any different can be assured by this--James was still dressed in his signature black coat, still pale and blond and, apparently, happy to stay that way: "The bleach makes my hair straight, which is nice because my hair was curly before--actually an Afro. However, this season, Spikey's attitude is different. "Over on the other show, Spike was at the end very heartfelt, sincere, trying hard to gain redemption," James said. "And that's still true underneath it, but the main thing here is Spike is just making life very difficult for Angel. I get to be very funny and snide and just an absolute jerk and completely selfish--and that's just wonderful to play." Sounds like they're spritzing on a little Old Spike, no? "I've heard a lot [from fans] that they wanted the old Spike," James said. "They wanted a lot more flavor of the bad boy, and that's right where we're living now. So, anybody who was tired of Spike being lovey-dovey and all sorry for the bad things he did, tune in to Angel. You're gonna get your Spike back." Still, don't forget that Spike is still different. When he shows up in Angel's 'hood, he'll be something of a ghost. "Yeah, for a bit," James said of his Casper status. "The main thing is I always lean against walls 'cause it looks cool--and it's easier than standing up, which in a 16-hour day becomes a big deal. I can't do that as a ghost." He paused for a moment to laugh at his own self-pity. "I tell you, it's really hard work here. I have to stand up." James, who just finished touring Europe with his band, Ghost of the Robot, also revealed the Angel producers are "cooking up" a love interest for him, but "they haven't decided who, and they're really not asking my advice."
